NIGHT LESS is a road movie composed entirely of images from Google Street ViewTM. The story transcends national borders as it takes spectators on a journey from Nebraska to Chiba, Alaska, Portugal and Marseille. This work is named NIGHT LESS in reference to Google Street ViewTM, which relies on daytime images only. Does this work, created without any filming done by the creator, deserve to be called a “film?” It certainly poses the question.
